Today, for many people, times are tough!
Wages are standing still and prices are going up.
Many are worried about losing their jobs or already have done so.

But just how do you do that?
Well there are lots of different ways, but if you are knowledgeable
about something or have a passion in a particular area you probably can
make money online.
Of course, most people actually do not know where to start! Many
could not even build a website or know how to drive traffic to it!
But, for some who have put in the time and effort, they have websites
that are profitable and earning them a welcome extra income. Some have
even found that that extra income is larger than the income from their
day jobs!
A few have even taken that magical step and left their jobs and focus on their new online business.
Contrary to what many people think, learning about how to create your own online business is not as hard as you might think.
For example ... I have a friend Margaret, who has a membership site
that focuses on a specific type of hobby that is quite unusual. She has
built her own membership site, and now has 177 active members worldwide.
They each make her around £12 per month - that's £2,124
per month. She only started a year ago and the vast majority of the
members were introduced by existing member, all who share the same
interest. She believes she can grow that membership to 500 giving her a
monthly income of £6,000 or £72,000 per year. Not bad for a 73 year old!

She did it all herself with just a little help from me and a friend
or two. She now plans to add a few advertisements to her site,
specifically aimed at her membership.
The most important step she made was - taking that decision to start her own web business. She is passionate about her subject and wanted to share it with others.
She told me "The hardest part was getting started - as I was far from convinced that I had the skills to do this by myself".
